It was encouraging. It was humbling.
Berdie’s card came in the mail yesterday. She has been reading the newsletters and following the ministry of Roosevelt Park Ministries for years. Now confined to a nursing home, she has committed to remembering the ministry in prayer. She writes, “I know there are many [needs] and I am praying for you as a ministry and all those that are helping you.” What a blessing to know we are being covered in prayer by this faithful woman of God. What a challenge to spend more of my day with God.
